Shipping Containers

Dry cargo shipping containers – are containers intended for transportation or storage of cargo. Using sea containers, it is possible to choose the best and most efficient logistics solution, combining road, rail or sea transport. Depending on the size, sea containers are divided into groups: 20 ‘foot sea containers, 40’ foot sea containers, as well as 45 ‘foot sea containers. A CSC plate is affixed to the door of each sea container – a technical passport confirming the container’s ownership. Prior to use, sea containers are thoroughly inspected and all have a valid CSC date – which meets international safety quality standards;

 

  • Dry Cube (Standard Dry Van) – standard type;
  • High Cube (High Cube Container) – Unlike 40 ‘DV containers, the HC is a foot taller.
  • Pallet Wide – such containers are wider than DV containers, two euro pallets by width can be placed, the following containers have an internal width: 2.5 m.

 

As standard, the container is equipped with a double-hinged metal door at one end.

10′ ft Shipping Containers:

 

A 10 ‘foot (GP) container is a small container commonly used to transport or store dry cargo. This container complies with CSC requirements, so it is suitable for intermodal transport. The 10-foot container is made of steel and is equipped with plywood or steel flooring. 10’GP containers are often used for the transport of small but heavy loads, for example: industrial equipment, generators, pumps, etc.

20-foot (Dry Van, Dry Cube, DV, DC) container: is one of the most common types of sea containers. The container is a safe and waterproof construction for storage and transportation of various cargoes. ISO 20′-foot containers are made of stainless steel. The containers are equipped with a double-hinged door end, wall-mounted ventilation shafts, and a floor of durable plywood. The container can be moved by crane or car container truck.

20′-foot High Cube shipping containers are higher than standard (DC) containers by about: 30 cm (9’6) to accommodate high loads. High Cube containers are chosen because they are ideal for transporting especially heavy loads, such as: sugar, cars, special equipment, paper, etc. Manufactured according to ISO standards and equipped with a valid CSC plate. ISO 20’HC containers are made of stainless steel. The containers are equipped with a double-hinged door end, wall-mounted ventilation shafts, and a floor of durable plywood.

The 40 ‘foot High Cube Pallet Wide marine container has an additional height of about 30 cm (HC, High Cube) and is 8 cm wider than a normal container (PW, pallet wide). Manufactured according to ISO standards and equipped with a valid CSC plate. Pallet Wide containers can accommodate 2x euro pallets in width, thus eliminating unused space that can occur in a standard width container. ISO 40’HC containers are made of stainless steel. The containers are equipped with a double-hinged door end, wall-mounted ventilation shafts, and a floor of durable plywood.

45′ ft HCPW Shipping Containers:

 

The 45′-foot High Cube Pallet Wide marine containers are approximately 30 cm (9’6) taller than the standard (DC) containers and are 8 cm wider than a conventional container (PW, pallet width). The most suitable choice when you need a large and safe storage space. Manufactured according to ISO standards and equipped with a valid CSC plate. ISO 45’HCPW containers are made of stainless steel. The containers are equipped with a double-hinged door end, wall-mounted ventilation shafts, and a floor of durable plywood. Pallet Wide containers can accommodate 2x euro pallets in width, thus eliminating unused space that can occur in a standard width container. Due to the construction of the container, there is practically no free space between the pallets, which limits the movement of the cargo during transportation.
